Time flies, it's been more than a year already. I came to check and see if anything new happened. It seems like this server is dying. There does not seem to be any new developments. The team seems to be slowing down and there's not much of anything new? Over the year, I've been learning how to develop myself. I'm at a level where I can do a lot of things now! And I've been checking on this server to see if you guys are still at it and you guys are for several years now...anyways that's all I wanted to say? Did anything new happened? This forum doesn't seem to be very active Maybe I'll check back in a year again, happy New Years' 2024 in advance ?

Okay that makes sense. The working culture in Europe is much more relaxing. Oh. What else do you do besides trucking? So, a wishlist. I love that and will steal that idea when it comes to doing things ? I don't actually play much of these things anymore. I started to learn development and behind the scenes of these things and appreciate them much more now than when I was playing. What are your big things you plan for SAPDFR? And it's almost going to be a year again, NYE creeping up which is crazy how fast time flies nowadays.

Wow that's around 7 years already. Oh, I thought you create new features too. That's pretty good. Are you guys United Kingdom based? Well that'll be interesting. Do you guys have any plans to extend game modes to things like Zombies, etc.??? Maybe even another game? Do you guys have a planned development schedule? I wonder what's your development process like.

Man, that's like a whole book right there. They definitely quit development on V relatively soon. I don't think they have the same drive as you and Tosfera did working on an MTA V server for close to a decade even with very little results. Most people would've quit after a year, not to mention 2+! What even is your intentions with SAPDFR? I wonder what your goals are and haven't you had the thought that SAPDFR might face the same fate as other MTA servers given the declining overall playerbase? Ofc it won't happen right away but in the long term it seems inevitable. The game can only keep running for so long as more and more modern games crop up and hardwares become more and more modernized. And why do you truck when you're learning development? Just curious because I think with your experience working alongside Tosfera you would be able to go professional if that's what you wanted.

WOW, unbelievable. I played UnitedGaming and LOVED that server because they gave me a chance to play cops even without a microphone. It's so weird to see you guys shaking your head at uG. I used to log in that server and everytime I played it had a freaking blast. My computer was pretty crappy back then too but I managed to do lots of things on there. A lot of people were on the United Kingdom timezone though so I missed a lot of the active play times. Yeah, I don't have any bad memories of uG, only the super fun ones so now you get the story from the other side. There was math involved? What kind of math? Was it advanced mathematics or something? Yeah, I remember Advanced-Gaming Roleplay. It looked very polished and well done. I'm surprised that it was just a hobby for the two of you, you probably could've taken it further than that.

Probably because the entire playerbase of MTA was dwindling. I think you did it at the peak of SA-MP/MTA popularity. It all went downhill from there. You probably could've fared better on another platform or game. That's amazing. And you had no formal education background? Insane. Are you the mythical 10X programmer I've read about in the books? You did this everyday without getting burnt out? Did you even plan any of the codebase out or was it in the moment coding? I doubt the quality of the script was the thing that did the server in. MTA was falling after its peak. GTA V was the new trend. It wasn't stable in the first place and was inevitable. You created a new script from the ground up, from scratch? Why didn't you guys just adopted a codebase and made it your own? I felt like that would've given you a lot more features. I probably contributed to the problem tbh. I remember logging in and batting cars up and provoking deathmatch ? Was very fun times, I think I even had other accounts and was laundering in-game money around. Ofc, I checked when the admins were asleep (had a tally of who's admin or not iirc) ? Why isn't your development knowledge that great when you shadowed Tosfera? What were some things you didn't know how to do, did you ever run into them? And how did you guys meet to collaborate on this project? Were you guys planning to have AGRP as your livelihood or something or was it just a hobby?

What I don't understand was that the server was quite feature rich already, at least the basics. I think you lacked the community back then. Wrong place and wrong time. Had you guys launched and started during the GTA V Era, I think the server would've been successful. I kept checking back to see if you guys ever gave up on the project but it seemed like the site was still alive and maintenance to the code base was still being done. Or maybe I got the wrong impression. Either way, you really ran this thing for more than 2 years without even seeing any results? That dedication to not give up was really inspiring to see in real time. I just wondered what kept you guys going for so long? So given your experience with development, are you two developers irl now? And do you two know each other irl or something? Damn full days into the community? Was your whole day during those years developing that roleplay server? I played the AGRP server during the very early days. Back when SA-MP was at its peak and everyone was playing roleplay. Unfortunate that it's all dead now and I lost contact with everyone back then and it's the same with the people who used to play AGRP, they all moved on. Now it's GTA V that's all the rage.

Hey, I used to play on the MTA Advanced-Gaming roleplay server. I do not think it exists anymore. I looked it up and it seems like its been abandoned. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. I used to own a big house back in the early days when the houses in your server was super cheap ? I thought many people would join the server and play back then but it turned out to be a big dud. I wonder what happened over time??? By the way, I think I even tried to become an administrator back then but I was blocked because I broke so many rules ? Now it is many years later and I still remember the blue themes and the introduction song when you log in, the server looked really well developed. Is this your latest project? It seems very different from your last for sure. Where is everyone that played back then?
