[Suggestion] AI fix to make life simpler.

Suggestion for (MTA, Forum, website): MTA


Suggestion:


I have some ideas about AI. We know, that AI likes to be broken - vehicles spawns into ground, blocking one each other. This is annoying.


1. AI Vehicle reset

a) Backup AI


When system detects that AI stucked in ground (after backup call and AI spawn will stay in one place by for example 30 seconds), after specific time, car will be reset to the road in correct Lane and correct direction.


b) Ambulance/transport/towtruck

When one of them will stuck with car/patient/suspect, head to head with second unit,

both cars will be reset to correct lane and correct direction.


c) Cars without drivers

Sometimes new player makes the traffic stop and pulls out the driver. Than in middle of road we see traffic jam or big MVA, because driver stands near own car and blocks traffic. Yes, we can shot and blow up cars, but this is not DM server... If system detect driver was leaved alone, after specific time both will be unspawned or driver will returns to car and drive.


Why should this be added?:

We all see that in game.

They probably don't even listen to you and say, "It's an old suggestion" but I like it, the AI ​​is bad and they don't give much attention, if they fix the AI ​​they would win more players and the gameplay would be much better.

You're right. AI rework has been suggested before.


a. /despawn your backup unit

b. backup uses the centerline to avoid conflict with other traffic. once they have departed you can depart and they will despawn.

c. there isn't a foolproof way to detect when players are done with traffic vehicles. you can drive them to the side of the roadway or call a tow truck or both. they also despawn upon server reset
