greenops011
Anyone who doesn't have a solid state drive (SSD), should be fully aware that THEY WILL FAIL. Its not a matter of "if" the hard drive will fail, but when. And unlike SSD's, hard drives do give off subtle hints that its about to give up the ghost. One of the biggest ways to tell if your hard drive is in need of immediate recovery is what is colloquially known as the "click of death". As they say in the video, if you've never heard that little ticking nose, congrats. Now go back up your data. Right now.
