Update 1.0.6 - January 28 2017

Recommended Posts

General Improvements

  • Updated speed calculation to a more realistic feel for the speedometer.
  • Changed callouts to use "respond code x" instead of "priority x" which is something we're more used to from other police games / mods.
  • Added random server messages which notify players of random helpful tips, forum link, etc.

New Features

  • Added cruise control which can be activated by typing /cc.
  • Added a new first person mode which can be activated by typing /fp (beta).

Callouts

  • Added a new callout: Possible drug deal - A drug dealer spawns in the area with an ability of a buyer being on scene. It has multiple outcomes that may appear when arriving on scene such as dealer being attacked by the buyer, buyer or dealer overdosing, dealer or buyer trying to evade, multiple people attacking the dealer, dealer attacking officers, etc.

Dispatch/officers don't really advise of their response, other than EMS being either "emergent" or "nonemergent". Plain talk. https://www.fema.gov/pdf/emergency/nims/plain_lang.pdf

Otherwise, Code 1 I have never heard used but would essentially mean take your time/no rush. Code 2 would be stepping it up a bit, overhead lighting probably on but no siren. Code 3 would be an emergent response with lights/sirens.

Main reason why dispatch tells people under what code to respond here is an attempt to keep people from responding with lights and sirens to litteraly everything as they are now. Only thing we gotta do is hope they know how Code responses work lol.

And yes, SCPD[/member] that's what the codes mean as Nick said.

Ok yes that makes sense and I agree with that lol. Some of the codes feel off but for the sake of the server let's just leave them as is lol

The only thing with this, no matter what the players constantly are Code 2 even when not on a call. When the receive a call, they go full speed, Code 3 even if it says Code 2 or Code 1. They hit other officers cars with no remorse, run over civ's. This is a problem to me because im in the mixt of recording an SAPDFR 2017 trailer. I can never save the clips because they act like its a race to get calls. :(
