make it so that lapd cop cars only spawn in la, and lvpd cop cars only spawn in LV etc, etc. seeing a vegas cop car in L.A really kills the emerson. also maybe turn the npc traffic up a bit at night time. there's almost 0 traffic at night which in turn makes for a kinda boring play through.

It's Police LS, LV, SF by GTA:SA side, however outside the game they can be used by much more. LAPD for example doesn't only use Crown Vics, they also have Chargers, Impalas (I guess), Explorers, Tahoes, etc.

If you look into the default car mods you'll see each has their own shader which displays the department you spawned in, for example if you spawn in Red County your cruiser will show "Red County Sheriff Department", LS will show "Los Santos Police Department", etc.

In addition, leaving Police LS, SF, LV to all departments also allows people to mod the game how they want (for example mod all 3 of the cars into LAPD car mods, etc.)

After stating these facts I will have to respectfully deny this suggestion.

I'd like to add to this by saying I do this ALL the time. Up until a few nights ago I had a mixture of Bone County units installed. BCSO, San Andreas Law Enforcement, LVPD, SA DNR, and maybe another department.

Right now I'm testing a 90s modpack that all have the same generic design. I feel it actually adds *more* to the gameplay in situations like this.

thank you guys for the input! also, I should have stated that I want to see the NPC's in the respective cars of their city. not the players.
