  1. We could always remove the collision of the model, making it purely aesthetics. Removing it would be done by /delrb instead of a timer so people can use it for as long as they wish. Problem I do see here is; where are we going to get an object that looks somewhat okay, isn't too big nor too small and which fit the art style of the game.

The way the current system is written, doesn't support an MDC; every ped is random and is never kept as a known entity; meaning that the second the pedestrian gets arrested, killed, removed or basically deleted by the script... we've lost all traces of the ped. In order to get the MDC working, we need to keep track of those things first. Which might be a v1.4.0 feature rather than a fast fix/implementation.

  5. Wouldn't this be weird if you just came out of a shoot-out (or if you're in the middle of it) and the suspect is still armed and dangerous? Don't you want to turn them around while cuffing them in the first place? Cuffing them from the front is quite.. weird. We can still turn the ped when you're cuffing them though, that wouldn't be an issue. but making them turn around when you want to detain them would throw their escape route off the scale as well. If we're going to implement this, it'll take a hell of a lot edge cases to consider.

  7. Update v1.3.0 initially would've gotten this feature, the back-bone of it will still be implemented. We'll be looking into ways to prevent people changing their names every few seconds and still keep track of thei punishments. So the suggestion is accepted, just won't be visually there in v1.3.0 for the player itself. Admins can change player's names as many times as they see fit without any issue.
  8. It's been a while but we haven't been sitting idle and we've not been picking our nose; we've been working hard to get a fundamental system reworked from the ground on. Update v1.3.0 will have countless of fixes and rewrites to make the server feel a lot smoother and spam less errors. While rewriting the system we've been moving a lot of code around and have touched almost everything in the server script wise which is the reason why the update took so long to complete. nerd alert: we've moved the native UI to CEF which increased the speed for making changes in the UI and hopefully also change the depth in which we can make new UIs. In the following video you can see a little sneak peek of the new authentication system, just to warm you guys up.   9. This is an issue with your mods and will only work for you. Changing the colors of your vehicle will break on every other client, so we won't be implementing that. suggestion denied.

Great question, for if you haven't read the title of this post yet. If you don't want to go all the way back up to read it again; we're looking for someone that lives and breathes code (or not, cuz you know.. we're humans. We need oxygen, not code.). Someone who's willing to take an extra step to meet the deadline (we don't have deadlines, we have milestones) and isn't afraid to test something new if it's in the benefit of the script. Just don't blow up the production server, I'm already doing that way too many times (sorry, for real.. I'm trying.). Projects & position The position you're applying for isn't just for 1 server (if you want to, please say so in your application. No hard feelings! Life is busy enough.) but for the entire community. You'll be working alongside me, Tosfera, to create several websites and web-applications to provide players the next step in our community. Tosfera has been doing this all by himself but time is limited and it's no longer a viable option to keep doing it like this. Projects include, and are not limited to: Updating and maintaining the website from SAPD:FR; Writing a new UCP from scratch in Laravel in a modular state; Creating an SAPD:FR module for the UCP; (which includes an API between MTA and the UCP) Managing the advanced-gaming website; If this scares you, this might not be the position for you.   17. I'm unable to do so, MTA has a hardcoded command that's called "help". I added "support" to make it easier. :)

  20. I don't see the advantage of this, donators have different colours for messages. The global and local chat are both formulated differently for this exact reason.
