That's actually normal. It's been some time since I made this sound mod. I can't remember if I followed all of the right steps or not. I think I did. If I did NOT follow the right steps, that would obviously be the cause. If I did follow the right steps, then the likely cause of this issue is that the replacement sound file is longer than the original sound file. Longer sound files, even by parts of a second, can cause this issue. Sometimes the sound that helicopter blades make while rotating will bug out, sometimes braking on soft surfaces like sand or grass will bug out, etc. I have no plans to revisit this mod. It does not really bother me. You are certainly welcome to reverse-engineer these files or make your own by following the guide that I think I posted in this section. Honestly, I typically opt for the "Yelp" as the primary tone and the "Priority"/"intersection"/"Phazer" as my secondary tone. They are not ever longer than the original files :)
  14. If you can provide a clean source for the sound (a full wail tone and a full yelp tone) with NO other background sounds at a consistent volume, I can get the audio and make a siren mod compatible to San Andreas. A video similar to will be sufficient

  17. As far as I'm aware, these files will be downloaded/replaced each time you connect to the server without the possibility of avoiding that. I had asked a similar question in the past about the stretcher and if memory serves correct that is roughly what I was told. You could theoretically replace the gun sounds the same way you would for singleplayer modding (through SAAT) but I'm not sure what bank those would go in.
