1. Actually 5 exp neutral award was in case they find another legit reason to kill the ped, attacking, weapon drawing etc increases the reward. For some reason the issue is that mta detects player as killer instead of ped if they kill each other. Will have to make some changes in that and then I will make those peds non neutral, aka minus 30 exp like any other ped. Wrote this from my phone so there may be some grammatical / sentence errors, if so whooops.
2. Hello there. As some of you already know SAPD:FR Online's server expenses are not cheap at all and are mostly coming out of Tosfera's pocket. In fact, the cost for said server is actually 150$ which is rather high to give us the best possible hardware as well as protection possible just so you guys could enjoy SAPD:FR Online with almost to no server downtimes. Recently we've recieved some donations but sadly enough they're nowhere near covering server expenses which is why we want to try and inspire more people to donate. Some of the players may not agree with the idea that we've got to add hence why we want to ask the entire community how they feel about it, the question is as follows: Would you mind if we added a small exp bonuses to donators which would consist of: Bronze donator: 5% exp bonus Silver donator: 10% exp bonus Gold donator: 15 exp bonus Don't worry, if we were to add these bonuses we wouldn't do anything in terms of lowering your current exp gains as making this server a grind unless you pay is NOT our goal and never will be, our goal is just to start covering the server expenses as we personally do believe that we've placed too much time and effort in the updates itself as well as the entire community to have this much money going out of our pockets. So, what do you guys think? Would you mind if we do that? Give us your feedback on this by voting on the poll as well as replying to the thread, Kind regards, Advanced Gaming Management
3. Bug Fixes Fixed the issue in which players would get negative exp even though the suspect was a valid or neutral kill Fixed towtruck unit's blip color being overriden from yellow to either blue or red (depending on the branche) Fixed medic's blip being reset to blue instead of medic's red after usage of the backup request Fixed the "hispotal" typo, whooops Fixed Ambulance's color not being reset to red & white after branche switch (it was black & white) Forced blip deletion for the peds, should no longer keep the blips after medics finish transporting their patient Fixed "active callout" not being reset for the player after dropping off the patient Fixed the issue in which medics weren't able to put new patients after their patient that was on the stretcher died (maybe if you took better care of your patients this bug would never occur, ever thought of that?) Fixed stretcher object not being deleted after player quits (if any is present) Fixed the rare occurance of being taken back to the spawn selection menu after clicking on a patient Fixed AI medics stealing your patients (took them all back to the training grounds, hopefully they've learned their lesson) Fixed the medic menu not appearing after recieving the "patient not stabilized to put on your stretcher" message General Improvements Added /pkick (alt: /pk) for Administrators, unlike the admin panel one this one will actually show the kick reason to all online players Changed the "call the morgue" message to avoid confusion between players over an unfinished system Added more medic vehicle spawn locations, this should prevent ambulances being placed on top of each other Blocked the /patrol command for medics as it made no sense to have them patrol, we will test out the exp gain and if it proves to be too small we'll increase the patient drop off exp reward Armored Truck Robbery callout guards can be interacted by the medics from now on
4. Fair enough, makes sense to keep country agencies smaller than municpal departments. However why do Sheriff's departments have access to the same equipment if the focus is to keep them smaller than municipal agencies? I mean the only difference right now is that municipal departments have more titles to grind for, yet you can get the highest title and all of the benefits that come with it with a lower cost in a county agency. Shouldn't we reward those more who grind and put effort in to ranking up? I mean we have 3 ranks that literally serve no purpose in the means of achieving something other than a title. No unlockables, nothing. My initial suggestion was to even out the ranks but now it seems to me that changing unlockables would be a reasonable thing to do as well. Perhaps we could move some of the city focused vehicles to municipal police departments and give county agencies more off-road focused vehicles? Yet another idea to throw out there. Mix the unlockables and make departments unique in their own way. This would encourage players to play in multiple departments which would increase their playtime. Honestly I can't even stress to you on how many different vehicles we'd do for each department if we had a way to add more vehicles without changing existing ones, especially in terms of offroad vehicles as you suggested. The grind is there for nothing other than the skin ID 240, I agree, we do have long term plans of possibly stretching out the high ranks to have some kind of controls over units but that's out of the question for now as there's still work to be done on the organisations system, MDC, etc. We will most likely consider evening the departments out, although even though you stated how county departments might be used more as it's easier to unlock everything they're actually not, most used is LSPD followed by the RCSD, but no department came anywhere close to LSPD. Issue is everybody is so in love with LS that they didn't really care much when we tried to revive other areas, we wanted to see how much interest such areas would get by creating events in them but during the SFPD one everyone waited for it to end so they could move back to LSPD. We might consider on how to bring more life to other areas than Los Santos but that is currently lowest of priority as there are a lot more features that need to be worked on right now such as making more callouts, resolving medic bugs (most are already resolved, all should be cleaned out at 1.1.1 release), adding a system for events where the event organiser would have ability to control his units easily, force callouts, etc as well as add an organisation system that would cover San Andreas Highway Patrol as well as tactic important divisions such as S.W.A.T, Detectives, etc.
5. To answer your question about the Deputy Sheriff III missing and less exp requirements, we aimed for Sheriff Departments to represent smaller departments unlike the city ones, we understand that a lot of Sheriff Departments such as the Los Angeles County one are rather big but in our case we've decided to work with a case in which the departments will act smaller and therefore require less to work up the rankings unlike the PD ones. In general, Deputy Sheriff III is not neccessarily missing considering there are plenty of departments around the US with different ranking structures, LVMPD for example doesn't have a PO III / DS III and I'm sure many more don't as well. As for the ranking structure, at this moment we do not have any plans in changing it as it would require exp changes as well as unlockable changes but it is definently something we might take in mind for our upcoming GTA V (rageMP) multiplayer modification and is definently something we will look into in case we actually decide to change MTA's ranking system in the future as well .
6. Searching for that one specific Vodoo between ~300 other parked cars will be a pain in the ass, but I guess I'll see what I can do lol.
7. Both added in 1.1.1, thanks for the suggestions.
8. Already suggested, Locked & Archived.
9. https://i.imgur.com/8qVRQ6l.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> Image credits go to MaXKillS Happy Annivesary! Hey there. We're happy to announce that today is the first anniversary of SAPD:FR Online under Advanced Gaming and have therefore decided to create this thread that will give a bit of an insight on what happened throughout the year. Community In this year the community has grown by a lot, we've gotten over 5,500 registrated accounts in game, an increased playerbase compared to the early 2017 and the summer, a much more active staff team and a lot of script as well as community updates! We're also extremely happy with all of the content that's been created in the server which ranges from videos to mods, guides & images. In addition to all of that, we would also like to send a big thanks this way to all of our players that have sticked with us throughout the entire year! Summer Issues As some of you may already know, Advanced Gaming did not put it's best during the summer due to the lack of free time from the Management Team, however, even though there was a major lack of updates you guys still didn't give up and our staff members which were Caracatus1[/member] and Nick[/member] at the time have managed to keep the server up on it's feet by being active and answering all of player's questions as well as making sure that rule breakers have no room in the server and for that we owe them great gratitude! In addition to the staff members we also owe great gratitude to all of the players that played during the time and have sticked with us and kept us on our word that we will continue to regulary update once the summer is over, which we did, and would also like to apologize if we were also rude to some of you in the proccess but we hope that you guys do understand that we were going through a lot of stress especially considering a lot of you guys were jumping us for not updating something that is our hobby and not our job. Updates Throughout the year we've been through 31 script updates and have changed quite a lot! Here are some notable changes: Seperated the Central chat from the chat and placed it in the middle of the screen which resulted in a lot cleaner chat Completely rewritten the callouts which save a lot of CPU on the server side, keeps the map clean as it doesn't spawn the NPCs right away (in fact it doesn't spawn them at all if nobody accepts the callout) as well as adds a lot more possibilities for us to create in said callouts such as multiple occurances, etc. Added unit display to the F11 map Completely changed the ranking system from SAPD:FR Online's original and added different ranks for Police Department and Sheriff Department saves Added 6 different departments to play through each consisting of it's own stats, exp, rank, etc. Some changes to the NPC traffic, initially improved their turning which allowed us for more realistic pursuit handlings as well as a increased it's density by a little bit A server sided mod installer that lets you install mods just for SAPD:FR Online server itself without having to edit your own game files Added parked vehicles around the map which makes it feel more alive, in addition to that some of the vehicles might be illegaly parked which can be towed for exp Added a possibility to play as a tow truck unit Multiple new vehicles added such as Unmarked Merit, Unmarked Yankee, Unmarked Police LV Completely changed the design of the spawn menu A decent amount of new callouts added, more are, ofcourse, to come Introduced the helper system Wiped out a lot of bugs, rewritten a lot of parts in the script which made it a lot more stable Resolved server crashes, we used to have issues at approximately 15 users online, recently we've been hitting over 30 with no issues at all, server refreshes proven to cause a lot less client crashes as well Added ability to enter interiors which work the same way as GTA IV and V interiors (enter from outside, no teleporting and such) Re wrote the patrol system Added ability to play as medics (big 1.1.0 update!) And much much more not stated in here! Media We've gotten a lot of media created in the server and have decided to share some of them through this thread!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NxIjWcOZP8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wwg5DeurKY
Thanks you for an amazing year and we hope to go through an even better one with you! Kind Regards, Advanced Gaming Management
10. Bug Fixes Fixed /patrol not working in some instances Fixed donator features not working Fixed an issue in which callout occurances were calculated wrong and therefore some callouts weren't being called General Improvements Added ability to add and remove players from events (atm it only changes their F11 names to white, will most likely do more features in the future) Limited server's FPS to 60 to fix the sirens not starting issue on clients that had high FPS Added following animations: /cover /drink /beg /laugh /shock /cry ( 0 - 1 ) /lean /pee /puke /jerkoff /wank /lay /cheer ( 1 - 2 ) /dance ( 1 - 3) /smoke /fall /jump /handsup/bitchslap /bottlegrab /windowchat /wait /think /shake /taxihail /cpr /cop /sit ( 1 - 4 ) /repair /hike /carry /pickup /putdown Peds will no longer be fully killed, instead their HP will be set to 1 and animation will be set to look as they were killed. This should resolve sync issues with dead peds Updated Ambulance's vehicle handling to feel more realistic in terms of acceleration and top speed Added /showlinks for staff members that displays all useful server links to all online players Added ability to set an exp multiplier bonus which gives more exp when active and also saves to the database Medics Medics are finally here! Added seperate callout timer for medics which means that medics can get their own callouts while PD members can get their own callouts without depending on one's timer Added a new custom stretcher object that's used by medics, in addition it can also be seen in the back of your ambulance (unless you modded your car, if so you did so, well, nice to know you're missing out *evil laugh*) Added a brand new menu with a custom design that's completely different from anything seen so far on the server, features patient's info as well as a 4 button menu that let's you choose between multiple actions. In addition the menu also supports 2 button actions as well. Added 6 medic spawn points alongside multiple medic points at which medics can transport the patients to Added a new badge / logo for the medics in the spawn menu Blocked all of the PD features from the medics Multiple outcomes for patients as well as multiple options, doing the wrong options could potentially kill the patients. For example, if you attempt to do a CPR on a patient with inflated lungs then both you and the patient are about to have a bad time, although, it's safe to say that it's the last bad time that the patient will have And much more that you should discover yourself! Anniversary Celebration Added a map at the Santa Maria Beach that will be used for the celebration Added a music stream to the said map to let players enjoy the place as well as possibly dance and, well, whatever you feel is appropriate to do (masturbating is not appropriate!)
11. First Aid abilities added to medics in 1.1.0.
12. When even a barrier can't save you.
13. What is your source on these badges? Are they allowed for public use?
14. Every event so far took approx. 1 - 1:30 hours.
15. Los Santos Police Department Public Patrol Event December 09 2017, Saturday, 21:00 GMT+1 Ran By: Blast3r[/member] Dispatch: Mafia[/member] Description: Some of you mentioned Los Santos few events ago and personally I am not up for that idea as it'll be quite a mess combining non event and event players but, hey, what the hell? Just like previous events, Discord attendance is required, microphone is not, as long as you can hear the dispatch it's all good, otherwise you will be kicked out of the event. If you're interested, just meet up at the LSPD Interior for a brief on Saturday, December 9, 21:00 GMT+1 and then we'll carry on from there. Hope to see you there, Advanced Gaming Management
16. December 16-17 As some of you may know, December 17 2016, Saturday was the exact time when we opened the doors for our version of SAPD:FR Online to the players. Initially for the first version we did update quite a lot from Palm Beach Games' version but we did find out that there was still a really long way to go for us from there. Throughout the time of the following few months we've released updates that were focused on improving the gameplay as well as massively polishing all of the bugs that were present and I think that we did earn the right to say that we've cleaned them out quite well, granted, there are still some bugs present that need resolving but those bugs pretty much require major script rewrites in the AI system which is something that we're going to get to eventually. Not so long after our release we announced our plans for the big 1.1.0 update which you guys have been waiting for so long and boy are we happy to say that you're practically standing on the 1.1.0's door step! Anniversary Celebration To celebrate our first and a rather big year with SAPD:FR Online we've decided to start a convoy that will start at the LSPD HQ and will slowly drive all the way to Mountain Chilliad where we plan to celebrate the anniversary with you guys. We will most likely map some things on top of the Mountain Chilliad and probably add some music as well as proper dance animations for you guys to enjoy as much as you can, additionally we will also make a quick brief either via in game chat or Discord chat (we're not sure yet) and then release the big one! 1.1.0 is finally coming! And you know what that means! That's right, medics! After the anniversary celebration you guys will finally get access to the Medic branche and finally get the chance to feel the joy of driving a guy bleeding to death in your ambulance and slowly watching him die on your way to the hospital because that's what medics are all about, no? Some of you have had the chance to see the medics on the work during the Management beta test but you still have not had the chance to experience the system nor see how it actually works which we're really excited to let you guys finally experience! We won't say anything about it now as we want you to have the full experience at the time it's released. Double EXP Weekend What other way to celebrate than let you guys rank up twice as fast? In addition, you can also brag to your friends that you were among the first users to use the medic system and have gotten a faster ranking up in return! Double EXP weekend will start on December 16, Saturday and end early December 18, Monday. When? It all starts December 16, Saturday, 21:00 GMT+1 and finishes December 18, Monday, 10:00 GMT+1, celebration with the staff members, management, etc on the other hand will probably end 1-2 hours after the start on Saturday. Hope to see you there, Advanced Gaming Management
17. Update December 02 2017: Username - Old rank - New rank Caracatus1 - Administrator - Head Administrator Chico2 - Moderator - Administrator
18. Staff changes Hello dear members, So after today's meeting we've decided to put the staff team throughout some changes, especially in the terms of hiring new members. As of the closure of the current staff member applications we will no longer hire members directly to the Moderator position. Instead, all of the members that wish to become a staff member will be required to serve some time in the server as a Helper and if they've proven that they're doing a good job, are active on the server and are also friendly with the players we will promote them to the moderator position. As of today, helpers will be in charge of our new Head Helper which is Caracatus1[/member] , he's going to be the one behind hiring new helpers, guiding them through the helper proccess as well as giving the Management his insights on all of the helpers and who's eligible for the Moderator promotion. Once the staff members pass from the helper to the Moderator position they will be under Mafia[/member] 's charge as they were so far. We hope that this way we'll bring more attention to the helper system and hopefully improve the server for the new comers with a bigger amount of helpers available to help them out, in addition we're also happy to announce that Chico2[/member] has been promoted to the Administrator position and is now the supervisor of the Moderators and in charge of giving Management monthly reports on each Moderator that we have which should help us determine who's fit for a promotion, demotion or even removal from the staff team as well as help us determine who's active and who's not. Kind Regards, Advanced Gaming Management
19. Bug Fixes Fixed Injured Person callout not properly set to medics therefore resulting in a double callout for police members Fixed helicopter spawn positions forcing you to unleash your ninja skills to climb the roof General Improvements Dead players should no longer freak out other people by talking in the dispatch chat Dead players can no longer call for player backup because they're... dead. Added donator tag to the chat for donators Added a new towing point for RCSD Added two new prisoner skins to the server New Features Added a new callout: Jail Break in Progress - It's based on a prisoner escaping from the jail cells that are present in the police departments, later on we'll add in a prisoner escape callout as well that will have a lot more peds present. The callout has 1 prisoner with a random chance of an additional member spawning that's helping the prisoner escape, possible outcomes are them having weapons and attacking you, escaping on foot or escaping in a vehicle, be careful when they're armed though as they can be quite dangerous behind the walls of the interiors
20. Red County Sheriff Department Public Patrol Event December 02 2017, Saturday, 21:00 GMT+1 Ran By: Blast3r[/member] Dispatch: Blast3r[/member] or goober5198[/member] or Mafia[/member] Description: Red County was the winner on last event's vote on which Sheriff Department we're going to go with for this weekend's patrol. So, just like the previous patrol events, it will be ran through Discord's voice channel therefore attendance on Discord is required to be in the event microphone, however, is not. In case you don't have a microphone you can respond via the in game chat. We've already made some updates to the medic system that we can't wait to test on the main server, we're quite happy to say that the medic system is actually shaping up nicely and is slowly getting ready for it's final release at the date that we teased on Discord. To join the event just simply come to the RCSD's HQ for a brief on December 2, Saturday, 21:00 GMT+1. Hope to see you there, Advanced Gaming Management
21. This is already in plans for after the 1.1.0, I'm glad you put so much details into the suggestion thread as we can easily use the ideas from here and implement it into the script when needed. Initial plan is to develop SAHP first with a proper menu that displays all of it's members, leadership, rank assigning, etc. that you mentioned, once SAHP is properly set up it shouldn't be too hard to transfer the said scripts onto divisions.
22. Tosfera[/member] - medic related.
23. Prostitution added in 1.0.28.
24. Moved to Denied Suggestions as we already have mods that were created for us by Nick.
