I am planning on making a video series to answer frequently asked questions that players ask in game. First few topics in the videos will be: How to pull someone over? How to run someone's ID/ license plate check? How request transport/towtruck/medics? Proper response protocols (ie, responding code 1, code 2, code 3) As we all know, there are players from many different countries, who use many different languages. In the videos, I will be giving a verbal explanation of how I'm doing each thing. So that we can better help all players, I am looking for people who can translate english to the following languages, and who would be willing to provide a voice-over for the videos (of course any people helping will be given a credit in the videos :) ) Languages to be translated to: Polish, Spanish, Turkish (not high priority, but would be nice) Also, let me know what other things might be good for this video series. Hopefully with this seires, not only can we attract more players, but also reduce the amount of people who just kill peds out of sheer frustration because they don't know how to do something

Today I went to the Strathroy-Caradoc International Emergency Response Day. They had a lot of really cool emergency vehicles from Canada, and a couple from the US. I managed to get a few pictures Its hard when you got all sorts of people walking around, and the one thing I was trying to avoid above all else was getting kids in the pictures, so as much as I would have loved to take even more picutres, I just wasn't able to. This topic is just to give players a useful set of key binds. It can be for letting central know if your on a traffic stop, if you are clear of the traffic stop, if you are going to be patrolling in a specific vehicle type (helicopter/transport) and also letting anyone else know if you are going to be providing backup. On a side note, any of the color codes I include here can be found at this link: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-chart/ So if you want to use these binds, just copy and paste them into your games console (either F8 or `). You will need to edit the text with the specific key's and unit number/ vehicle info etc, that you want. Again, the unit number, and the keys, are just what I chose. If we're gonna use something like that, it should be free and open source, like "TicketsCAD". And I'm pretty certain it wouldn't be hard to somehow sync it up with the server so you could track officers location in real time. (The beauty of it being open source is you can edit the code to what suits you best. And as the real time tracking is already available for the webadmin resource, i can't see why it would be too dificult to adapt it to Tickets) I've used tickets for some studying for my Emergency Telecommunications course, and it is really intuitive and feature rich. http://www.ticketscad.org/ My bad, I should have clarified as I was only looking for the statuses and substatuses to be added. *Sigh* how many more times is the "player controlled towtruck" thing gonna be suggested. While I agree with the medic kit thing, I can count at least 4 times the towtruck thing has been suggested. Not to mention not using the proper suggestion format. If it was up to me, this thread would be locked and moved to the denied section.It's not my call, it's Nick[/member] 's so we'll see what he thinkgs I don't want to seem like I'm being harsh, but its getting a little tiring with the tow truck suggestion.

To start with, please use the proper suggestion format. And OT, what may be a better idea is when you go on duty, have the ability to add someone as a partner for that session only. By doing so, only you or that ONE partner could operate that vehicle, and if one of you leaves the server, then that "partner" status would be removed. I think having it so it's not permanent would be best, because it would remove the lower ranked players incentive to rank up if they can just drive the faster vehicles their friends have

I definately support this, as it stands right now, I never go into a call like the "armored truck robbery" or armed suspect, without a secondary unit on scene. I will wait just outside the area where it says 10-23 until another unit can back me up. I think this will force others to take the same approach which will be a lot better

just curious, what's the dff file size? and the OPP crest, I would either scale it down slightly, or move it so its more centered above the rear wheel, as from what I can tell in the pictures the top corner gets cut off by the light head

we can't add it as the default skin? and idk much about pollys but I'm guessing this isn't low polly? Thats gonna be a big no on it being low poly. Easiest way to tell if it's low poly or not, is the size of the dff file. if it's higher than 2mb, its not low poly
